“Why do I write?” I ask that question quite a lot of myself. After all, I am no Pulitzer Award winning writer. I am just a Lutheran pastor with something to say. But more importantly, I believe God has something to say through me. As Martin Luther would say, “If it were left up to me I would surely bring it all to ruin.” So that’s it…nothing fancy…just thoughts, ponderings and reflections all from the heart of a pastor and for the glory of God.
As a pastor I believe one of our “jobs” is to interpret the world through the lens of scripture. Sometimes I see and hear things on TV that needs to be talked about. Sometimes God kicks me in the butt and I feel moved to share my insights. The Holy Spirit moves and acts in mysterious ways and I never get tired of being surprised.
